Acknowledge the momentary feelings,

Listen to each thought without judgment.

And to escape these temporary dealings,

You let them go without lament.

 

 

Remember: feelings are not facts,

Take a deep breath in and out,

Stop yourself right in your tracks.

Ignore those feelings of doubt.

 

 

Get outside of yourself,

Don’t forget that this is temporary.

Put these thoughts on a shelf,

These assumptions are quite arbitrary.

 

 

Don’t be impulsive – just stay.

Save your actions for another day.
